Here's what I'm thinking... Fly into San Francisco. I need AT LEAST one night at Li Po. (Which could be my all-time favorite bar. You heard me!) Stay at The Fairmont. Drive south down Highway 1. I don't know for how long. End up in Los Angeles at Chateau Marmont. A garden cottage for at least one night. From there drive to Vegas and The Venetian. Then fly home.
When I had a desk job I used to daydream of sitting on some California beach off Highway 1, a bottle of whiskey in hand...I think it might be time...
