The film looks a lot like "The Driver" starring Ryan O'Neal, and directed by Walter Hill. Amazing film! (I think O'Neal's gave his best performance in that, with Barry Lyndon a close second.) It seems to me they just don't make films like this anymore. Can't wait to see this one!
I believe I've said this before here, Roger Ebert is, week in and week out, the best writer going right now. Here is his review of the film.
